Who I am
Hi, I'm Isaiah Regan, the person behind Heart of Fire Metalworks. I am an aspiring Blacksmith with a passion for metalworking and lighting stuff on fire. I love making all sorts of stuff, from your good old hunting knife to more decorative work like leaves or pendants. If you can make it out of metal I'm sold. Most importantly, I am a Christian and seek to do everything to the glory of my master Jesus Christ.
How I got started
I first started blacksmithing in the winter of 2021. Well, I'm not sure if you could actually call it blacksmithing. I stuck a couple of nails in the campfire and then flattened them out on my dad's machinist vice with a claw hammer. As the years have progressed, I've worked to build my skills as a blacksmith, as well as my roster of tools. The road to get to this point was long and hard, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for me as I continue my journey.
Our mission
My mission is to keep the long and storied tradition of blacksmithing alive by providing the best quality metalwork I possibly can. I want people to be inspired by my work and maybe be motivated to start their own blacksmithing journey. Most of all, I want to run my business and platform in a way that glorifies God and shines the light of the Gospel.
Our vision
I want to live in a place where artistry and industry meet and neither compromises. Despite the wholesale decline of blacksmithing in the last century or so I wholeheartedly believe that there is a place in our modern world for this beautiful craft and I am determined to show the world what can be done with fire, steel, and a little determination.
